Hydraulic Fan Drive on Accord Drill

Would like to put a hyd motor on the fan on our accord drill . Is it right the fan runs at 3500rpm? Any one done this ? Standard motors only seem to go up to 2800rpm , Any sugestions where I may get one.

Yea used them before but can,t understand the cheaper online bit and free delivery, I,m on the phone just take my money????

You can use a Turolla SNM 14cc hyd motor which has a max speed of 3500 rpm or a Parker F11 motor.

do you direct drive the fan? can you not drive the pulley so you can have a slower motor?

Have one with hydraulic motor.Motor drives large multi vee pulley then fan,seems to turn slow 100-200rpm

another Accord type question, how many S type harrow tines on a 4m drill? I have the frame but no tines or clamps.

Try Andy Guest, he used to be able to be able to supply a slow speed motor (1200 rpm) with the necessary pulleys and belts which was a better option than the high speed Accord system. He converted our hydraulic drive front mounted Accord hopper to a PTO set up and it has worked really well. Obviously you need a front PTO but it has got over all the problems we had with hydraulic motor seals (Accord £150 a time) and oil over heating .....not to mention incompatible spools on JD and Fastrac...

16 then, well 17 so short coulter on right hand end covered.
any suggestions as clamp part no?

Accord Df2 front hoppers hydraulic fan runs at up to 4500 max blowing to back. Will go faster but book says damage will occur. AFAIK its a factory fit.

Thanks for all the info. I bought a hyd motor off Weaving (good company to talk to) But...... turned out it only runs to 2250rpm, which is ok for osr drilling , but on wheat needs to be 3350rpm.
Theyre now getting me a accord motor, ( probally is for a front tank ) that will run at up to 4500rpm.
Hope it fits ok like it is in the parts book.
