They never will be with a tine drill. 100 years of pasture and then DD with a disc drill could work.

Feed the worms and they will bury the stones, as above 10 years will sort them.

Was going to say, Amazone Primera, every time. Seen acre after acre drilled with them, copes with stones fine, just doesn't like ploughed ground as it is a heavy thing and tends to go too deep.
Have to flat or heavy roll them (buy a folding flat roller set) to protect the combine knife but that's no price to oay for having land that drains dry in a day.
Spring crops with a Primera on flint/chalk are a doddle. Spring linseed? No sweat, whack it in, saving the moisture- rapid sustained emergence.
Only trouble with the Primera is trying to spot the old tramlines so I could use them to run the 12m rollers up and down.

You might be surprised to find out how much good sized, sorted and washed flint is worth....

No but I know a man who has a machine that will collect all that, leave you with a huge pile of small flints to build tracks and take away anything the size of your fist or larger.
