Young Farmer Payment

Looking back at the paperwork, I think ours was paid initially with the BPS on 1st Dec. The figure looked low, but I think (according to the Claim Statement I received a couple of weeks back) that it's all included despite being marked "Core Scheme".
That would be sad

We have so far received the equivalent of £162 / ha. I hope that doesn't include the young farmer topup!

Can't get a statement from the RPA so no idea how that works out.

I've finally received the paper work to say my sfp payment is on its way in 4days, but the young farmer bit says £0 even though I got accepted to the scheme. Will it come through later?or do I need to make a phone call

Are people re-applying for young farmer for this year's forms?

I applied last year. Heard nothing at all. Do I apply again or do they acknowledge I'm a young farmer already?

The online guidance about the scheme isn't clear at all - applied, and have just been paid, for 2015.

Am I now eligible to be paid going forwards? Do I need to go through the exact same form-filling process for 2016? Have you had all the extra money you're going to get if you're not under 40 in 2016?

Currently on the phone to the RPA - they don't appear to have a clue either. Actually, they've just cut me off after ten minutes of umming and ahing ...

Seems you can resend (in hard copy only - so much for online applications) 2015's original form, assuming it was in order and accepted.

Did you get any notice of your payment before it was made, or did it just appear in your bank?

I had to fill out the form again. Or at least that's what I did.

After contacting @RPA our formal complaint has been chased up. So we are expecting a response three weeks after we made the complaint. Instead of the two weeks they initially stated. This is after we've been told "everything is on order, we can't understand why you haven't been paid" and "there is nothing to investigate" at different times. We live in hope.

good look with RPA we have had many complaints and basically they aren't arsed to do anything about my complaints.

they don't see a problem that 1 partner in a business wrote to them stating he took it all on etc and changed the name and who was allowed to act on the account so in the end we had to buy our entitlements off him which we already owned?
RPA don't see a problem with this, so anyone who's partnership goes pear shaped be the 1st to right to RPA and get the business in your sole name so you own the entitlements!

Well as week after we chased this up we've chased it again. We haven't been paid. Everything is in order but the computer won't pay us. So they don't know how to sort it. I don't suppose @RPA could write a check by hand...

Admit haven't read all this I'm afraid but I thought I would badger a few of you in here. has anyone successfully applied for entitlements from the national reserve as a young farmer? Despite having 80 already? As an aside I got paid my young farmer top up in 2015 after having an inspection to see my documentation. However I got in trouble for allegedly over claiming by 1000 euros, fined the same amount and I haven't heard anything since despite not having overclaimed at all. Could have done with that 2000 euro months ago!

To update: we've now been told that the @RPA are too busy paying 2016 BPS to pay our Young Farmer. So, all they need to do is press a button. All checks and calculations are done. It is just the final banking but they won't do it. Ridiculous.
