I have a number of dbx files in my Outlook Express. However Outlook Express does not open them probably because they are corrupted.
How to view corrupted dbx files?
Any advice is much appreciated.
Outlook Express is obsolete and really should be upgraded. It's probable that it is being used with an old, possibly unsupported operating system, that will not be secure.
Is there any particular reason that Outlook Express is still being used? The latest Outlook is excellent.
Hi,
Try these steps: Right click on Local Folders at the top of the folder tree and then New Folder and name it. It will appear in alpha order after the Drafts folder. If it useless try to open your file with the help of DBX Viewer Tool

Have several thousand emails I need to delete from my OE inbox, but keep getting an "OE was unable to send the receipt" message, whenever I highlight one. I've tried the different options for read/receipt emails but can't get anywhere. Ideally would like to stick them in the delete folder where I could go through them ?
If you are still using outlook express, it would suggest you are using an unsupported OS. I would look at upgrading to an OS newer than Win XP as a matter of urgency!
