But it is really just a solution of fcf brilliant blue dye I believe. I bought a pot of crystals and boy are they strong!

If you are spraying green crops you need to make it stronger. The blue shows up fine later in the year whan things are paler but now you need MORE!

I've also used the Kiwikit one 'Done that', over time I've diluted it more as can still see it at lower concentrations.

Does it dye the inside of your sprayer too?!
You could always add pendimethalin to the tank, after all it was invented as a dye first and herbicide second. Residual effect too...! Not that I'd support or condone it - more making a flippant comment.

Looking for household items I can use, as walking around like a headless chicken today knapsacking.That blue stuff that's used in chemical toilets works fairly well
What colour food dye didn't work? Or none of them?
@Drillman were you joking on the chem toilet idea? Can find out some blue tablets that go in the cistern?

Do not use household chemicals. How do you know they wont inactivate your herbicide?

More to the point do you want to be breathing the fumes/spray or having it in your eyes?
