Parity

As the pound continues to crash towards parity with the euro, it would be a good time for the UK to jump into the euro (at 1:1) to save further devaluation I suppose.
You couldn't make it up:(

Need a spin doctor here to keep the sharp edges off the story for the nine o'clock news .

Let's call parity in this case "parity of esteem", given the "deep and special relationship" under development between London and its "friends" in EUland.

Be a good trade in wheelbarrows soon. Be needed by every respectable housewife to wheel enough cash down to Aldi for a pint of milk for the tea.

What our poor Euro chums would do for a weaker Euro. Unfortunately they are stuck with it. Bless them. Still waiting for M Barnier's 'education' speech. Will be great to hear how to do things properly. When's BPS again? Reckon it's going to be a bumper year for UK farmers.
