Mounting topcon x30/x35 in MF 76/7700

Just wondering were people find the best place to mount the above screen? Looked at the bracket from agco parts that fits front right hand cab pillar but wasn't sure if the screen would be to far away? Tractor has datatronic screen so could mount on that rail.

Hi, we supply a multitude of brackets on install so will fit it where you want. Most are mounted from right hand door handle and are still reached from seat

Is there an issue that an X30 / X35 would only fit onto one of those two ranges of tractor listed? Whilst you might be able to mount such a screen into a 7700 tractor, would it actually be able to do anything?

Mf 7700 is fine, anything with an mf 7700s with the s being important. Only factory mf guidance will work. We can mount an x30/35 in anything but an mf s series it won't work , a John Deere, a case, a new Holland, a McCormick, a jcb a Fendt it will. But not an mf s series

Ah, that's useful. Thank you for clarifying that as I had thought this problem applied to all 7700 tractors.

We have purchased a new dealer stock tractor to avoid have the "s" version and been locked into their GPS system. It was bad enough with the 7600 factory fitted system which we bought into. Now even that won't with their latest tractors, takes the p**s a bit, hence going for x35 system.

From what I've been told only a factory fitted novatel or Trimble system will work. I guess this is because someone at agco reckons they can extract more money from the customer by selling a GPS system on top of the tractor

As a friend of mine had it explained to him the steering part is done by AGCO it's only the GPS receiver that comes from Novotel or Trimble.

But as you say they have stopped you installing any complete 3rd party GPS system, Trimble, Topcon, agleader etc
