have seen the old metal structured wind turbines.made from a skeleton frame mast with a metal finned wheel. Seen quite a few in Herefordshire but they are all slowinly disappearing and I would like one if anyone is taking one down etc?

They get taken down when they are on the verge of falling down usually.
I looked into it and new ones are available, I’m sure google will find them for you.
A chap near me put a second hand one up some years ago and as far as I can make out having your own crane is essential for ongoing maintenance. I would assume that was not the case if buying new.
