Vacuum pump using a lot of oil

We have a Battioni MEC 86H 8000 vacuum pump on a tanker which has suddenly started blowing a lot of oil out of the exhaust, I’ve been told this happened half way through filling and is still happening when the oil drip feed is shut completely off. If anybody could shed a bit of light on what could have gone wrong it would be very much appreciated, thanks, Rich

No it’s just straight oil. Going to strip it down I think there could be a seal between the lube reservoir and the chamber where the veins run that’s failed

Cut the oil back on the drip feed or increase the thickness of the oil used.
Seal gone causing gearbox oil to be sucked in, but top it up again first to double check.
That little front gearbox needs a vent, make sure its not blocked as that will cause the oil to disappear also.
