After an exceptionally long wait (since January) my local water supplier has finally quoted a new larger water supply which we have excepted and now I need a heap of 50mm water fittings including a 50mm PRV (pressure reducing valve) & a one way none return valve.

Any ideas where to go for decent quality at sensible money fittings???? (y)

You will get a shock at price , think they will insist that fittings are brass , and you will need to build boundary boxes , meter box to their spec ,

Burdens will supply everything ,

Can I ask what the price was to upgrade? I am about to have a new meter installed and a fair length of piping and am wondering if I should just go for a 50mm, or larger, rather than the normal 32.

Upgrading from 25mm on my own ground and doing my own digging and exposing the pipes and doing my own man holes is around £2700:banghead: (Kier)
