Grass has gotten away from the sheep in a field and as such they haven't been through it much of late. Local farmer has asked to cut it for hay this week. Whats a fair charge? Per bale I'm thinking, was selling some this winter for £30/£35. Obviously not at that but I'm thinking £15 ish? 2 year old grass ley so will be decent quality. TIA

Committed myself to 60 acres local to me back in may when I had sweet f a grass, 80 pound an acre for 2nd year seeds fertilised, yielded 8t per acre for clamp, should be top value stuff, with contractors costs should be around 15 quid a tonne, that's got to be cheap grub?
