Have one flat floor and one multi tier house. The store in the multi tier house is extremely hard ti keep clean, I could clean the floor tiday and by the next evening it will be covered in dust and feathers.
Has anyone overcome this problem?

Why is the flat floor easier? My multi tier is frequently less tidy than it should be. Main issue is muck on soles, so changing boots at doors would be a big help. Also have a scrubber drier which makes cleaning floor easier.

In my flat floor the veranda is sectioned of so the dust from scratch area can't come into store by the egg belts. Whereas the multi is the opposite, endless amount of dust that the hens rise while scrathing seems to come in by the egg belts.
I have a karcher scrubber dryer it's a great job but dont want to be usinguit every second day. Has anyona used extraction fans?

Hi Martyoni, one thing that has been tried is to try and pressurise the egg store slightly by forcing outside (clean) air into it, hopefully stopping the dusty air from the chickens getting in.

interesting way of doing it always assumed extraction rather than preassure
