Kverneland match ploughs ? Type, price, where ?

Friend asked me to find him 2 furrow used Kverneland plough for competition. I have seen them on some exhibitions but never saw what are their names and types.

Can someone tell me what type should I look for and also what price to expect ? What to check so he gets good machine. I dont know about the price yet but definitely used one.

I have seen that there is LS 180 and it is 7-8000£. If someone has proven sellers that can offer that so if he decides he can buy it on blind without going there to see it.

Thanks

Forget the age, and use the competition history. Remember, nothing goes well straight out of the box!

As I have seen newer have settings on hydraulic so that would be probably good to have. It does not need to stop to adjust it. I know that it needs to be adjusted for every soil etc.

I dont need to stop to adjust mine, and its based on an old frame, some parts are from a yellow Bamford.I can also change from two to single furrow, and back, without leaving the tractor seat. I have five hyd services, the depth, width, levelling and top link.To achieve this, the linkage on the tractor is also controlled by the spool block. Its a COMPEITION item, and its success is the only yard stick. For a beginner too complicated a plough will be impossible to do a good job with, he will not know which lever to pull or handle to turn. Its hard to buy success in any sport, much easier to end up with all the kit, and no idea. There are some good men up your way, go and talk to them, or, go to the Judges seminar near Hereford on Feb 16th and ask questions.
Like race cars, no match plough is as it left the factory.
