Heard this yesterday from my other half who is a vet, so went and bought 10 bottles cause whatever is in stock is it and there may not be any coming back into the country till autumn.

If you've not started calving yet, get some Dr larsons paste. A pair of gloves and a set of andis clippers and do them at a day old. Done all my bulls to spin the lignocane out and it's worked a treat. Just shut them away from the cow for at least half an hour.

Agreed, although I just stick some duct tape on top and don’t even bother with the half hour.

Apparently it's on red tractors radar to bad dehorning paste due to it being caustic and painful to the calf.

Well ours had been in buying from wynnstay before i got mine as they couldnt get hold of any either.

I bought a couple of bottles last week, long sell by date, and no shortage where I went.
But assistant told me that the local vets had run out, and called in to buy. They were not allowed to sell to vets! That was a new one on me.

I wasn’t bulk buying. Will need new supplies next month. Honest.

Norbrook have stopped making a lot of low value stuff so they can use the lines to make more expensive stuff, life aid is gone, combivet, and now levicide injection, will definitely miss it, cheap as chips and great for young stock for lung worm. Adrenacaine surely would be one you would think they would keep.
