Hello,


Looking at a building a pig shed for contract finishing I’m wondering if anyone else is on contract finishing agreement and how they are getting on?

Also how wide is your scraper passage and what are you using to scrape out?

I am happy to help as well. We have just put up 2 x 1000 space sheds to contract rear for BQP. Just at end of first batch. PM me.

Contract rearing doesn't really change. If you can supply own straw, use muck, (or do a muck for straw arrangement) and have spare labour then it is not a bad business IMO.

Speak to Bqp at Stradbroke Suffolk and ask for a new build info pack. I no they have finishers in Leicestershire. They might be in your area,

scraper passages are nominally 3m, about 2.8m actual. We bought a used 2t 5m Kramer telehandler to do the scraping and other muck duties. Looked at scraper on small tractor, but you cant push up the muck with that without a front loader.
