Not always thoughIf you look at the figures, don't go for anything with extreme growth (200 or 400 day weight). It is highly correlated to birth weight. This is inversely correlated to calving ease.
Bigger calves at birth grow quicker and are subsequently harder calving. So if you are in any doubt about the integrity of people's 'calving ease' figures - you can look at it another way.
