Don’t know if I am missing something but my phone will not ring when incoming calls happen. Been through the settings still can’t find anything wrong.

Does it think it’s got headphones plugged in? use to get this problem on my 6! Had to plug/unplug a set of headphones a few times to get it to sort it’s self out.

Found this on the phone unsure
From the locked screen, slide screen upwards till you have torch calculator ETC, and make sure the wee picture of the half moon is not lit, if it is touch to switch off "Do Not Disturb"
When it's on box is white with a blue half moon, off it's black box with white half moon

Failing that have you tried doing a hard reset ?

Still plays music through the speaker so surely it can’t be the speaker

Does it play the ringtone when you go into the sounds menu and try changing tone?

Yes no problem at all. It this I can’t seem to change which I think is the problem the blue tick will no disappear only change between the two.

It’s nothing to do with that as you have do not disturb off anyway stupid question have you tried flicking the silent button back and forth a few times

Mine is set to always, perhaps it’s putting it on silent when you lock the phone not just when the button on the side is on.

Farther down there is repeat calls is it highlighted green?
PS my blue tick toggles between the 2 also and never goes away
