The palace is look great(y), it will make a big difference next year for you when there all under one roof.
How are you going to set it up inside? Give it some thought so you get it right as to what suits you, draw it out so as you have an idea that way you can alter anything before you start with the fixings(y)
Can't decide whether to allow for pens over one side of the shed or whether to allow for 2 sides. Any help with pros and cons would be very much appreciated. I love seeing different set ups so able to do a bit more :scratchhead:.

Hi, do you mean the individual pens for when they lamb?
Think about how you will take them back out the individual pens, you don’t want to make work for yourself getting ewes and lambs back out through ewes that are still to lamb and into the bike trailer.
We have a passage just wide enough for the bike trailer between our individual pens, so drive through, 4 ewes and their lambs into the trailer and off you go.

I also think it helps having all small pens in one place in the shed, it’s easier looking after them and seeing what’s going on (you know, one needing fed there one needing to keep an eye on, a lamb that would do for twinning here, it saves walking about the shed in middle of the night looking for these pens!! ) it’s further to bring your ewe and lambs but I think it works better.

IMHO, it will depend on your feeding arrangements (feed passages etc) and whether you intend to turn them out straight from the mothering pens (if so, as @bobajob says into a trailer and off) or whether you hold them in small groups before they go out. In which case, to save a lot of time (and effort) moving them about the pens need access from where they lamb and then exit from the other side straight into an adjacent group pen -a bit like this but with less wonky pens:oops:
