Happy enough with basic guidance but

Yesterday the magnetic antennae on my leica mojomini came off tractor and hit the road. Needless to say its dead.
Been quoted 900 +vat for a replacement .
At that price its probably better to just get an entire new set up.
Patchwork Trimble Topcon all coming in more or less the same. Teejet matrix 430 a little less. Is it all down to dealer or are some better than others.?

...or you could just buy a decent quality replacement antenna for a fraction of the price of a Leica boxed one ;)
Any chance of a nudge in the right direction or an example?
I would be concerned about buying one and then finding out that the two components wouldnt talk to each other.
There was a wireless connection on mine.
This post possibly will highlight my lack of tech knowledge.
If I could get a reasonable antennae for a fraction of the price with the assurance that it would work , well that would definitely appeal.

Yeh sorry I was having a brain fart when I scribbled that. Unlike a cheap Trimble receiver, the mojo mini antenna is actually more of a receiver than a plain antenna. So yeah your bummed getting the Leica unit as spares or get a complete new unit altogether.
