Have had ntrip rtk with topcon and now trimble (Fendt varioguide ) have always had a roaming sim because of the distance between my farms and poor reception. It does work well so may be a cheaper option and less hassle than setting up a base station
We run roaming sims on topcon NTRIP and never have a drop out, and work over a fairly large area, tried an EE one but was unreliable around here, from our experience a roaming sim on ntrip is more reliable than a radio signal from a base
