As per title really as the last lot I bought hasn't lasted very well. Thanks in advance.

Bedec barn paint. Much easier and pleasant to apply compared with bitumastic not to mention coal tar. Bitumastic lasted about 20 years. Coal tar area still like new after 27 years but was a wrist killer to apply. Bedec been on about 7 or 8 years so far and still looks good.

I have used Bedec barn paint and it is great on timber and clean primered metal but on anything rusty it just goes rusty again quick.
If the sheets are at all rusty I would use an oil based paint or bitumen based.

Most of the sheets are rusty to one degree or another but I've got some broom size wire brushes that shine the tin up quite nicely with a bit of elbow grease! It was a bitumen based paint last time and as I previously said it hasn't lasted that long.
