Brave even attempting it with the water pipe in, top job I would say. Complete wally who chucked blue pipe in there mind. Did that perforated pipe always end like that with a long curvy end?
Yes the word wally came to mind when i found it ? after following the ditch to see where it was it even ran along the hedge out the ground by 3 ft. Yes i think that is how they put it in. It is in the direction of travel so left it be.

Looks like your trying to cultivate in a pond? :ROFLMAO: Glad the tractors fixed, fudging rats, saw a post on FB earlier, someones SP sprayer had had its wires chewed badly after just being parked up for a week.
It was until the under drain gang visited, was trying to stir up the tracks they left with the subsoiler before they got water in again ?

Started the day with a couple loads of MN on some wheat and barley before the rain.

Spring barley that was drilled last week is growing slowly.

Had a good afternoon spreading muck on the last field ready for beet. I thought I'd better push on into the evening so I can go to the sale tomorrow and buy @flat10 his cuppa I promised him.

And despite all the doom and gloom at the moment I had a really really nice surprise through the post.

Dragged the aerator out of the shed for the first time in 3 years. Figure it has to do some good with the winter we’ve had.!

Is it dry enough, I thought the ground needed to be hard to create the cracking effect as apposed to the smearing effect, I had the same thought of dragging mine out as the ground seems capped after all the winters rain but unsure if it will make it worse.

Our ground is quite hard, self draining, so if I do it when it’s dry, it makes a hell of a rive up and sounds like the blades are just bouncing on the top.
It seems to be making nice precise slits at the moment... ?
