Fertiliser Price Tracker

Is anyone?
Good point :p

Don't believe there was too much partiality either way, just the latest figures and trades. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong currency and commodity screens or I have my glasses on upside down (been known to happen as I am partial to a glass of red). Firm stable for 30-45 days but could see weakness beyond this period as China might be in a better position to export. It'll also be interesting to see where AN starts and how urea compares.

Commentary on what drives the price is entirely relevant in a price tracker thread IMO. Please keep posting (y)

Beginning to wonder if it really is a good idea to buy a year in advace of when it is needed.
Bought this stuff last year for this year

It is coming out of the bag like this

View attachment 878691

Taking over half an hour just to get 3 bags squashed and put into the spreader
I feel your pain Had some the same this year in the same bags....hitting the bag with a big post as a handful falls out each time....tried all sorts

The question is though, have you ever read a trade report which says dont buy fertilizer now it will come down in price? Because i havnt.

Of course I don't expect a sellers report to be bearish. Look at who has written it and understand their agenda. I did take the advice of my buying group last year and didn't order until January which turned out to be sound.

And there's the viking ship!

I think I'm right in saying that was the factory that the Germans took over in ww2 to create heavy water for their atomic resurch.

The same factory in the film 'The hero's of Telemak' great film!
