Best not to publicise that, I am telling merchants all mine has gone, it will be found again at £250/t for full spec.we are carrying 90% of harvest 2019 through
But It’s OK for large grain traders to buy it & store on into 2020/21 Season.Best not to publicise that, I am telling merchants all mine has gone, it will be found again at £250/t for full spec.
You miss-understood, my reasoning is its does not exist, not about what year its grown, marketing is about creating artificial shortages, see fuel supplies on the early lockdown weeks, kero was actually rising in price when it should have been crashing. But It’s OK for large grain traders to buy it & store on into 2020/21 Season.
when you say early drilled what date was itStill hopeful for early drilled wheats on heavy land. Kerrin.View attachment 882477View attachment 882478
uve still 90% of harvest 19 in the sheds? no need to worry about this years harvest then wheat price is only going one way just nowwe are carrying 90% of harvest 2019 through
About 15th of September off the top of my headwhen you say early drilled what date was it

It's the cash stability implication of this that one has to have the most respect for here, rather than the benefit from any potential price increase.uve still 90% of harvest 19 in the sheds? no need to worry about this years harvest then wheat price is only going one way just now
Just now noticed SO heading not much more than 6" high.that oats are the best scavengers of soil resources, followed by barley followed by wheat.
See your earlier photo for a clue, you probably should pick it up before the combine rolls anyway. ?Just now noticed SO heading not much more than 6" high.
Unfortunately, don't grow any SB or SW here with which to compare.
I'll put up a pic of it, alongside my 24" spanner, if I can find it again.
That is early thanksAbout 15th of September off the top of my head
The irony being that the grain still in store from the 19 harvest still hasn’t reached the £169 we could have sold it for about 16 months ago for last November movement.
Yes my best sales were on 2nd to 7th Aug 2018, at £170 and £172 for Nov 19 movement, it was also the best week for selling 2018 harvest
On the SB thread.Just now noticed SO heading not much more than 6" high - I'll put up a pic of it,
The sad fact is that even if prices get to those highs again this year we still wont show a profit given our prospective yields.I sold all my 18 harvest in late August at £194 a tonne with no drying charges so it was a rather profitable year
