Lamb grading explain

My first year back into lamb production for a while . First lambs been away and have my kill sheet back something I have never seen before so quite interesting. Not exactly sure what it all means so hoping someone can explain in simple terms
My grades have come back as R3H,R3L, U3H, U3L

Have a look at this. You've done alright drawing your lambs. Form is temporary, class is permanent, as they say

I've honestly no idea, my abattoir works on grades 1, 2 and 3 (1 is in spec, 2 is over fat and 3 is too lean).

I've never sold a lamb on the euro grid

vivers?

they changed to Europ last few times we had lambs down.

Is that because Scotbeef has it now? Having said that, some of my lambs went there last year and I'm sure they were on the 1-2-3 grading system. Had to get @Nithsdale Farmer to explain it!

Yep.

They were doing Scotbeef (Bridge of Allan) kills because their own contracts were so quiet - because of the shitstorm caused by Brexit.
If your lambs were Scotbeef, you may well get europ grid. Vivers still work on 1-2-3 grading
