Quite enjoy it for a change . I'm normally a Thatchers man but I was given a few bottles of Aspall a couple of days ago .

I do, but in all honesty I didn’t do as much as I wanted to last year. The main restriction is soil moisture in the autumn. The early ones grow quite a bit taller than the later ones, so tractor clearance is an issue.@Muddyroads - do you hoe between the leeks when they are smaller? If you do, at what point do you have to stop, i.e. when are they too big?

Lent my IW flatbed to a neighbour yesterday and he left me a box full.
They are full of everything except apple ! same goes for 'standard ' strongbow
I find the dirt gets brushed out, but leaves a trail of straw instead........give with one hand, take with the otherDont they just get "brushed" out when you drag the bale wrap out...
