until next week when the chillers are full of sub standard lambs and they have too force their customers too take them… 
Like I say, it happens every year. 3/4 meated stores being sent direct by dealers straight from the mart

Lambs in Bakewell were down about 25p/kg today compared to last Thursday, but over double the number in!
I was very pleased with our first draw- 46.6kg @ 250p/kg (£116.50) and 49.4kg @ 246p/kg (£121.52)!

16-17 months old with horns to match but little bigger than 4-5 month old calves. There were some Jersey x in with them.Seems to have a dozen or so every week at the moment. They were making about £300- £450. Waite bought most of them.

Same at ua 225ppkg, over 4000 in. Down alot.
Not sure how those types can keep you in business to be honest but a few seem to manage it.

Many a time I saw cattle come through Chelford like that. I always wondered how they did it? Ours die before they get that bad!!
