Bought an awful lot of cattle off Arthur over the years and dad started buying them off Glyn originally. For years Michael that used to drive for them would come down with their lorry and drag for weeks fetching straw from us. Always used to have some cracking bullocks come out of Llanrwst.
If he wants them, he buys them! Many have tried but few have stopped him up till now.

He was a massive buyer in Carmarthen then stopped coming for a few years, lots of rumors as to why but nothing worth repeating on here.

Lambs in Bakewell were down about 25p/kg today compared to last Thursday, but over double the number in!
I was very pleased with our first draw- 46.6kg @ 250p/kg (£116.50) and 49.4kg @ 246p/kg (£121.52)!
Hoping our ram was the one at £182!

16-17 months old with horns to match but little bigger than 4-5 month old calves. There were some Jersey x in with them.Seems to have a dozen or so every week at the moment. They were making about £300- £450. Waite bought most of them.
Good old DW i can just imagine that phone to his customer " i've got you some 17 month old, straight cattle, will go well on a bit of fed, real value for money, i'll be with them in an hour" and then them bloody things stagger out of his wagon!!!!! :scratchhead: :scratchhead:
