Trouble with the sheep is once you've paid he doesn't give a flying feck. Good run with JD mowers though. First one did 16 years and was still going strong. Current one has done 11 years.

Grounds working very easy this year, I had a couple of photos in the today at work thread showing the difference from last year to this.

Something not right here if a Nh 250 with 8 furrows is pushing a JD 215 with 6 furrows on an incline as the two tractors without boost are pretty similar

The autopower in the deere is the issue I think, on the flat he can pull away from me, really hard pulling uphill I gain.
Does he know how to work it
I'd be very surprised if the t7 was any better on same size plough going off my experience of them

It's only on hard pulls uphill I can catch him, everywhere else it can pull away.
Last 7.250 I had on demo my 7820 could out do it no bother that's why I'm surprised and that was only 5 furrow on

Our 7820 was an animal as well, same as the 7930 that replaced it. The R series just aren't the same.
My 78 is only the 6.8l as well not the 8l that are in most
The autopower are far better tho as they can rev as much or as little as needed to get on compared to others
A neighbour of mine sold his 7930 as it was a gutless?

I can go slightly faster running autopower in manual on hard pulling. Irritating as full auto mode is much more convenient. Didn’t notice this prior to the r series

the problem is as they get newer they become more eco-friendly ad blue and common rail when push comes to shove they won't blow a bit of black smoke and push on they just give up we have an old case with a cumins engine she will hit a hard bit of going and the revs drop lower and lower but she doesn't give up and climes back up the revs but the newer tractors when they drop 200 revs they give up the newer they are the worse they get its all to do with emissions if you want a tractor to do a job you have to go bigger and its getting dam silly

Very lucky this week with a new toy yesterday! Ex demo (One we demoed as well) T7.225 bluepower with all the bells and whistles! First different tractor in 10 years so it quite a rare event here! Got to say the autocommand box is awesome to drive compared to the older power and range command. Highly impressed with it on the demo, seems a lot smoother ride than older New Hollands and has loads of power for its size.

Finally got to look at a new to me boom end today as it’s been parked in the shed since March waiting for a tramline width change

Glad you got sorted out! She’s a beauty! Health to enjoy! Once you go auto command nothing else will ever compare.
Looks like your front fenders are just barely containing those 600’s, they do a wider size which gives full width coverage, unless it’s just the photos?
