not far away the auto gauge says 54 mm on the shoothill gauge map

don’t need any more till after harvest now

Back to the stage of hoping the 0.3 mm forecast next week arrives. Realy needing a drink( both crop and myself) . Third drought in five years if this continues.

Yep, next to nothing today. All crops curling up rapidly on light land.

On a positive view, I would rather crops die in drought than flood. 2011-2012 were very challenging mentally with rain every day.

Still a good variety, whenever I have a field split between it and a different variety it always looks a nicer sample. Maybe better yielders out there but it remains a consistent variety.

Was away last week, came home mid week to find 50mm + in the rain gauge. Perfect end to a holiday!
