The insincerity and evilness of this action could be foreseen. I generally find that the bigger the flower arrangements at the talks the more criminal the participants. Presumably the flowers are required to mask the stench of the absolute corruption of some of those bandits who are obviously lying through their teeth.

You may claim its made in jest by including emojiis, but by your own words, you claim "its usually a fact"
Instead of trying to always talk everyrhing down, perhaps look at the bigger picture fuel up, feed up, food up, electricity up, wood labour etc, why should farmers not get a decent return? We all have bills to pay, fert for example is up 400%, so remove the chip and maybe work with arable neighbours and do deals for straw/grain against muck. We can all help eachother, but no, uk farmers are famous for not working together, arent we!
I think he might be suffering boredom now the cattle are out grazing. 😂

It is a fact and history proves that if corn is dear then livestock profits take a hit and vice versa. I do sell muck and buy standing straw. Did i stop you selling corn forward when it hit historic highs just lately? No need to preach input prices to me fella, you want to try making your sole living from livestock and get back to me with your gripes

You have no idea of how my farm operates, or whether I make money from livestock or grain or a combination of different operations. As has been said before, you really have a sizeable chip on your shoulder.

Pretty unpleasant hoping your fellow farmer gets shite prices for their produce. In 2 generations it's gone from neighbours helping each other gathering the harvest to hope the neighbour f**ks up so I can buy his land cheap......

Its a really sad state of affairs, isnt it? Many comment on here that we should be more like the dutch or the french, sticking together to protect their industry, but worzle's post show exactly why uk Ag doesnt stand as one industry :(

how many ports capable of exporting and loading ships do the ukranians have available , and then with the distances involved from the likes of odessa to karkhiv 500miles lviv 500 miles kiev 300 miles dnipro 350 miles on roads /railways that have been bombed cant see a lot getting out thisside of a ceasefire however from russia via their ports a different matter , U.N negotiated to let themselves be shafted it seems to me

Apparently only 3 Ukrainian ports are covered by the deal and one of those has already been attacked. You would have to wonder if that counts as a deal breaker less than 24 hours in.

In my opinion for what it’s worth this is all be blown up,no pun intended ,by the press and trade emails to lower the price we get.i can’t see much at all coming out of the country.bulk carriers will be at risk of hitting mines or getting blown up,that’s if shipping companies even want to enter dangerous grounds.cant see massive amounts being moved by rail or trucks as I’m sure lots of roads may be damaged and a lot of male truck drivers may be fighting Russia so can not drive the wheat out.may be wrong but that’s my take on the situation
