and theyre starting to charge silly rates for it - been told i cant have any till june next year..... Only used it as a sample 2 years back to see, soil results came back ok - dfinatly good for trace elements but not a patch on muck.You may have trouble getting it, can't keep existing customers supplied

My limited experience is that it is vital to rest the leys properly. I have one block which had FYM last back end. I took a good cut end of June and left it until next week, when some lambs will eat it off before winter. That's it.

Not growing much is better than not growing anything!
I've seen it myself, takes years to get the land back to where it was.
Excellent fertility in that spotEspecially if you hit the 6ft sewage pipeline
