Folding 4 meter combi recommendations

Weight, is the current 4m KR not a front tank machine? Not everyone wants front tanks, basically a 4m pronto with folding PH instead of the discs would be 👍
What's wrong with front tanks?

Personally would rather not have a ton of seed ontop of power harrow. With front box the power harrow generally rattles over the top of rock.

Front tank better weight distribution. Less stress on rear lift.

I notice with our 4m combi that’s it’s consirably easier to pull wen the hopper level is getting low, front hopper would suggest to me a less powerful tractor could be used.

Vision, transport getting in and out of tight gateways or onto busy roads, bad enough having to creep out before you can see what’s coming without and extra couple of meters of metal sticking out the front, not as easy to put on and off

ive never had a ton in the 3m kuhn probs coz it will only hold 800kg at the most
but just not keen on front tanks & id still rather have a Guttler press upfront anyways

Put a camera on the front & you will see every thing , if the gate way is tight to get in to, how do you get the combine in with the header, double gates are the way forward , try putting a front reeler & dribble bar on and off a tractor , you soon get good at it & takes no longer than putting front weight on

You can put as many cameras on front kit as you want but the won’t make the idiots drive any slower on the roads your pulling onto, don’t fancy having the job of pulling off bits of a family after they’ve gone under the front tank as you pull out of a gateway

I suppose the point I was trying to make is why on earth have it trailed as its then its not a drill for all conditions. Can't beat being able to lift it on the arms.
They make a trailed version of our pottinger, looks a bloody awful lumux.
I’m on my own and have land in small blocks (5 to 40ac) but have to go through a busy town to get to half of it, other half is round the M1 motorway roundabout and usually queueing traffic most times of the day, can’t leave loader and seed in fields as get attacked by kids. We have a Horsch pronto drill and the big hopper is great as i can drill each block in a maximum of 2 fillings, quick to drop off and use tractor for something else. Some of the land needs a pass with the power harrow before it’s fit to drill. I was thinking that with a trailed powerharrow combi I could still carry 2 ton of seed and cut out a pass.

i find they make a better job with a bit weight in the hopper ? weird eh.
Don’t make any difference on our land but everyone’s farm is different full hopper of seed is actually less noticeable on the 4m than it was on the 3m combi before it. I figure the weight is spread across more area on the packer
