Have to agree. Trucks are a lot cheaper horse power, just as technical, better cab, last longer, and you can earn a living with just one. We are been taken for a ride.
Average 20 acres per hour, a lot of road work and small fields in our area. If I didn't have to do OSR and n28 on 3feet high maize I would go back to a tractor with front back tank.

I also would go valtra, the short wheelbase 170hp 4 cylinder to keep the front tank as close as possible. Would ideally want vario. Might look for a used sprayer in the mean time to put on our mf6480 to take the pressure off the sp at busy periods to do pre em and grassland now we have two drivers. A lot will depend on what feedback we get from our customers.
T255versu, not a Vario gearbox but I can live with it for the jobs it does,find it the most compact and manoeuvrable in that hp group,have a good dealer for back up which is another big plus.
Will be pulling a 4m vaderstad on steep ground,T254 at the moment on its knees at times, everything else it never breaks a sweat.
Our dealer bought a few n175 actives in to stock, highish spec with 57k box and front linkage. £99,000 with four yr warrantyHad an N175 and loader on demo, had to insure it for £194000 list price. Still waiting on price for a N155.
It had a mahoosive subwoofer though
