yes, by and large they like their retirement. What I really need is a retired guy (farmer, farm worker, mechanic…) to do some part time . Just doesn’t happen here
I guess that's why you see a lot sat outside bars chatting, cant blame them really.
A couple of lift attendants here look well into late 60's,

Been around and about, everything normal 🤔
Not a very “general “, general strike🤷‍♂️
On the local news there was talk of the lifts being shut but we went over to combloux today and they were all running as were the ones we could see back in st Gervais plus all the buses were about as normal, didnt see any queues in the two petrol stations we went by,

A load of friends were due to fly out to France to watch the Gloucester game, all been cancelled. Fecking garlic munchers
Was buying some bread in a boulangerie the other day, still had my Glos shirt on I usually wear under my coat when skiing, another customer shouted come on glaws, he said he is one of the big dug mascots, saw three more in a restaurant a couple of days later
