If there is another size ( I don't mean dowty ) does anyone know where to source one ,
It may be classed as industrial type .

Could unscrew the fitting and put quick fit on ect but the location of fittings ( very awkward ) and age of pipes reluctant to do this !

There was a big one and a little one if I remember right
You are going back into history with this carry on
Yes dowty and Exactor ,
i know it's a carry on but it's on an old crawler to fit the mole plough to and I am reluctant to tamper with the pipe work and old fittings if I can help it , I'd rather just put this fitting on but think it's going to be a job to drop on !

There’s definitely two sizes I can remember changing them over for different tractors
I had an adapter concoction made up at one stage from Dowty to 1/2 quick release. If the crawler is Cat it’s probably UNC (USS) thread where as the British stuff will be BSP

Job to say on photo but does look dowty type even though says Exactor !
will prob end up biting the bullet and attempting a quick release swap but it is in a pig of a place and there's no oil leaks anywhere on the system (at the min .....) 🙄

Agriline list them
they are sometimes a better type of coupling than quick fit when there is very low pressure in the system . Used one when we were hoeing with front how as the quickfit continually dribbled oil when there was no pressure in the system to maintain a seal.
they were available in a range of sizes but not sure if that is the case today
