Average sugar was 15.7 with dirt tare at 3.8. We lifted in perfect conditions in early Feb. Yield was only 73.2 tons hct off some no more than average land. Variety was Janinka (Conviso).
Made a decision not to grow in 23, might regret it but at least the risk of wrecking my land with an overweight harvester is gone. Good luck to those growing this season as input costs continue to rise you will need the forty quid a ton to stay where you are.

Without me trawling my cropping records can anyone easily tell me me what years we have been allowed/not allowed cruiser since the ban. My guess is something like 2019 and 20 no treatment. 21 treated, 22 untreated and 23 treated? My years refer to the spring of drilling or am I missing a year?

Is anyone going to meet the BS Ag director on the ‘2st’ of March? If so; can you ask him when we can expect the frost insurance to pay up please 👍
