150 years ago probably get it done faster than today just plenty of manual labourers, no mechanical diggers no HSE or environmentalists no half a mile wide cut across a field to but a 3ft diameter pipe in.just common sense and muscle.

That's a hard decision these days . We had a second calver lose a calf. Sent her on the cull and she cams to 1640 . Bought a replacement heifer and good bull calf for 1580 .
