Does anyone have a contact for those really good quality recycled Dutch or German creosote treated oak sleepers please, the ones with a band or a plate on the ends to control splitting. Probably a couple of packs if there are some nice ones about
Wynnstay used to have them at Banbury depot 3yrs ago, but it's like drawing teeth trying to get anyone interested now.

I haven’t seen their reclaimed sleepers, but know a couple of people who’ve used them for new sleepers.

I bought new eucalyptus sleepers off them and thought they were pretty poor quality when they arrived.
I wouldn't buy any without seeing them again.

we’ve been getting ours from Westfield farm equipment at swinford. They are redwood though not oak but they are good. I think the ones you mean are slightly thicker than the average ones
