Does the front top link have a more out of the way storage position? Seems a bit daft that the lower arms fold away neatly but that to be stuck out

Bit unsure about the range change delay between C and D. But don't think it would be a issue.

They are great looking tractors. Would gearbox delay be similar to the range change in a massey dyna 6?

They will pull away in D,don't think you would want to do it loaded though,the direct box does take a bit of getting used to,did they not have a bigger one to give you,same tractor i suppose just a few less ponies!
You're able to rotate the top link crossways and insert pin through a bracket in the middle of it for tucking it away.
Generally not recommended if pulling a heavy load, but would be fine for empty trailers, etc.
On an N175D the delay is ~1s where you do lose power, but not something that bothers me as with minimal planning you can negate this trait.
