If we all packed up what would happen?Supermarkets put up price of bread by 20%, wheat price drops by £10 a tonne and fertiliser prices rocket by 250% and agriculture is responsible for the decline of all wildlife and for global warming.
Whatever happens in the world we farmers usually get blamed for it and end up financially penalised.
A nearby farmer would be guaranteed to break ranks and quickly take advantage of any upsurge in prices. As would others across the country.If we all packed up what would happen?
Stewardship is a reasonable halfway house. Once that area gets over a certain percentage those schemes will close. Probably better to get the application in sooner rather than later.If we all packed up what would happen?
