Copa-Cogera reporting Spain, Portugal, Italy cereal harvest to be 60% down, and downgrades to large chunks of Europe. Worst cereal output since 2007. 10% down on 5 year average overall, so thats around 27m tons less than average.

Was announced yesterday, market initially went up but came back down almost straight away.
Market expects;
Russia will continue to export with a direct deal with turkey.
Ukraine will export their smaller harvest via road/rail and via Romanian ports.
Brazil had a mega harvest, but all eyes are on the US drought impacted crops, which may not be realised till autumn.

You'd think they already have the way the get all excited every year about a cipc risk assessment on grain stores!!!!
Does 'RT' stand for 'Red Tractor' or 'Russia Today', or going by the lacklustre performance of the wheat market, perhaps they're one and the same?
This season it actually feels like someone in a 3rd rate tinpot government is pulling strings to manipulate prices, but sadly I think it's our own.
