His name was GoveI thought there was a vote a few years ago when farmers were told these rules and regs were going on a bonfire!
What happened to that I wonder?
don't think you'll have less inspection's going forward , aparently ea are recruiting massivly and they will all be expected to cover thier salerie's!We are still free to act unilaterally. Nobody will be forced to sign up to all the additional rules and bureaucracy that SFI entails. And now it’s a lot less simple and profitable than BPS opting out is an easy decision for me.
We had an ea one earlier this summer and one of the most refreshing inspections we have had in years. Easier than red tractordon't think you'll have less inspection's going forward , aparently ea are recruiting massivly and they will all be expected to cover thier salerie's!
They can inspect all they like but a deduction of 5%, 15% or 50% of FA sub is still FA so good luck to them with that.don't think you'll have less inspection's going forward , aparently ea are recruiting massivly and they will all be expected to cover thier salerie's!
no they hand out fine's!They can inspect all they like but a deduction of 5%, 15% or 50% of FA sub is still FA so good luck to them with that.
They’ve always handed out fines if you’ve broken the law whether you claim subs or not and they’ll continue to do so. But they won’t be deducting subs if you don’t claim any.no they hand out fine's!
Surely they will be far to busy administering sfi to bother with non claimantsno they hand out fine's!
Or jury service and have no idea when it’s going to finish!!You should have said you are in Spain for a fortnight. See you when I get back.
and it is not a working hour.there is only one 6’o clock in a civil servant’s day !
What’s a working hour?and it is not a working hour.
To have an inspection just before a TB test is nonsense. It is supposed to be coordinated. I would write to them or contact NFU if you are a memberWe had it back in March, boss and his wife were in South Africa, his wife does the passports. We were told we had to have made a start within 48 hours. So I gave them all the passports and two women came, one to hold the barcode scanner and the other to turn the page of the passports. I was generated a list of about 18 numbers they were unable to find which I went straight to as they are all in number order, they must have had some stuck together or got distracted because there were sometimes 3 or 4 together. The next day I said they could come out to read calf tags whilst they drank their milk on the feeders. I had 70 cattle in the village to trailer back to go through the crush. We had 1 and a half days putting cows through the crush between normal routine.
In all honesty to women was helpful and pleasant enough, it’s not her fault we have to do the inspection it’s just her job.
The worst part was when she said it’ll probably be an annual thing now that we’re over 1000 head of cattle
The following week we then had a TB test then the following week red tractor.
To be fair the few times EA have been round they were quite fair and worked with you to get round any problems they found or thought might become a problem and were decent about it ,We had an ea one earlier this summer and one of the most refreshing inspections we have had in years. Easier than red tractor
Jehovas sent stuff by post last week, easier to put in the bin than open the doorYou only need 5 words -
"I'm sorry, it's not convenient" Keep it simple - in the words of our dear late Queen, "Don't explain."
Works with VAT inspectors, cold call salesmen, canvassers, Jehovah's Witnesses, distant family who want to visit during harvest etc etc.
