What about ringing a few breeders who are breeding whatever type of Suffolk you want, to see what they have privately?
I’d imagine most of those selling at the female sales are playing the game of feed, bone and heads, rather than those types that are slowly regaining commercial demand.

As above Strakers have the most genuine of all the autumn sales ranging from fancy bred to more workaday Suffolks. You need to speak to Lyndon Trumper at Straker Chadwick. He has been selling Suffolks in Abergavenny now the Monmouth Livestock Centre at Raglan for well over 35years and will give you the lowdown on all the vendors

I think Skipton and J36 have reasonable club sales, otherwise you can chase the dream and go to the 3 nations or dark diamonds at Carlisle!
