Since footvaxing, the ewes here are loads better but the lambs since weaning have been very tedious. Just keep niggling on, have footvaxed all the keeping ewe lambs but there is still a handful lame. lambs just start as scald but then bursts away, annoying as most are on aftermaths so should be clean but I think a lot is picked up in the pens from the shear number of sheep that pass through. Tried footbathing but didn’t seam to make much difference.

We are on with some stuff that’s a lot cheaper it’s a copy

Our vet swapped it out for the cheaper copy called Tuloxin, but the price has stayed the same.🤷‍♂️

Incidentally, I’ve mentioned a travelling vet that had (legally) set up prescribing drugs after an annual visit, who has now been shut down by the new prescribing rules from RCVS. His Tulloxin was £130/100ml, local vet supplies the same product at £155/50ml.

We’re royally having our legs lifted!😡

The upselling price gouging and grifting continues.

I can foresee a time when all antibiotics are vet only administration. As in, you will need a vet to actually do the injection.

The new rules have been brought in under the premise.of reducing inappropriate use of antibiotics. So why are some vets interpreting it that they need to see each individual pet dog before selling a wormer or a flea treatment?
