THAINSTONE, Aberdeen and Northern Marts (Thursday 15th November) Sold 4085 Prime and Store Sheep and Feeding Ewes & Rams. New Season Prime Lambs (2216) averaged 256p per kg (-11p) and sold to 321.8p per kg for a pen of 39kg Beltex from Ashley Cottage, Greens and £168 gross for a Pure Texel’s from Belnoe, Chapeltown. New Season Prime Lambs SQQ up to 45.5kg (1101) averaged 263p per kg (-7.6p). Store Lambs (41) sold to £110. Feeding Ewes & Rams (1828) averaged £67.73 and sold to £274.50 for Texel’

Back 11p/kg on week. Watched half an hour on line and looked to be 6 buyers instead of usual 4. Price still back. They looked to be handling more of the lots and what I saw looked very good lambs.

Never a good sign when they’re handling a lot.

very happy with what i sent on Tuesday. Mixture of texels, suffolks, cheviots and 1 swale. (Guess which one 🤣)
