Potato Price Tracker

Don't want to hijack thread with unrelated topic but while we are on the subject of seed, has anyone had any success planting cut seed? In particular with piper, agria , sagitta etc. Few articles online it seems it's pretty common abroad , but it do say it only works with certain varieties. All varieties mentioned are not typical UK chippers.
Current story is a local grower planted a couple of tonne of cut seed sagitta in a bid to try and finish a field last year when they couldn't find any seed, but that has not been verified, apparently turned out pretty good.

How would it work with blackleg etc?

I was told it wasn't a good idea for sagitta and agria as prone to blackleg.
Would be less risky if you were planning on selling them almost straight off the field/ before Xmas?

Will hardly run out in 4 weeks
I had Look North visit my sprout crop in 2018.

I was interviewed by Phil Bodmer, I only agreed to go on because I wanted to meet Charlotte Leeming.

The reporter was trying to make things look much worse than they really were. Filming the plants on the end of rows which were a bit light on nitrogen.

They wanted to film wet potato fields in 2019, been on sandstone, I declined.
