It's back together and I've run a cold wash through it, it's not leaking through the sides so I'm assuming I've out it back together correctly?

Just double check your tank or wherever the water runs too once your milking to check to see if there’s any milk
Have you more litres in the tank tonight?
Might be water in the milk?

Anyone have a dog that helps out at milking time in the parlour. Flo my Lakeland thinks she's a cattle dog, fetches the cows summer or winter, Hoover's any spilt cake like a vacuum cleaner, cracking vermin control officer, best backing gate I've had. Bloody fearless ! Or stupid not sure which one .

come across a utube channel, chap had a springer spaniel working his sheep, doing a fair job to.
before l saw the light, had 2 spaniels to help with the sheep, each on 30 meters of lead, and a peg, had to keep moving the pegs !
trained 3 good collies for the cows, over the years, last one ate a dead rat, poisoned, and lost her, aged 2, and really coming on.
thought, and decided, no longer fit enough to train another, son hasn't the patience, sadly. But a good dog, nearly equals an employed man.

yes. And l reckon a u'tube channel must pay very well.
good luck to him, he's got a huge following, comes across as a nice chap, and gets the farming message across well. And earns some cash doing it.
find it very interesting watching how farms run, here and abroad, and how different countries, do the same 'jobs' as we do, differently.

Went in for breakfast after milking and came out to this 
Didn't realise you were a suckler man! Which do you prefer, the Angus or the Hereford??
@Wee Willy, good spot, one has got some Angus in i reckon but gave plenty of milk this lactation and jumped back three weeks in the block, I'm not fussy if they do the job.

She was hard as nails and took no messing from any cows
Sadly lost her at beginning of covid
Cauliflower ear from having a go at a big huntaway and scar under one eye where a cows dew claw caught her
