By rights It should stop all of the Egyptian Urea from being hoovered up by Indian tenders, which would involve having to ship it south through the Red Sea.

Prepare for it to be spun into some bogeyman fable that ends with the farmer being shafted, yet again.
for context, India has bought roughly 5.6 million tonnes this year

90,000mt (<2%) of which came from Egypt which has an annual production capacity of around 7 million tonnes

my concern would be the logistical time that it takes to ship, bag, treat with inhibitor (where necessary) and despatch to farm the forthcoming Q1 demand for the UK market

Do they normally offer split payments terms or is it encouragement to sell some before a new yrs price drop?
Will it be a new year price drop,?
Maybe a bounce in the new year - spring is on its way.
Hopefully I will need some for mid Feb. Might not see it before March if one leaves it too long into the new Yr before ordering

Regarding a drop, who knows,, 🤷 someone on here was quoted £335 for Jan delivery if I remember correctly.
