I've only just bought the 7-25 so yet to need anything. The TL7 I've had 5 1/2 years and after 1800 hours has needed next to nothing apart from service items so again can't really comment.
It won't get a huge amount of use. Bought it on a whim really due to it been a clean and tidy machine.

Thanks @Wilkster . Do you or anyone else know if other more mainstream (in the UK) combines ever had this option, i.e. Claas / NH etc. ? And when did it stop being something that they had?

Would not be a big engineering job to put a chaff blower on the combine , just like they did on old threshing machines .
I'm not into combines or anything so cant tell you details but I have seen in a magazine somewhere a combine that had like a grain roller on the back to smash any weed seeds that came out.

Yes it's sort of being reinvented now.
I was only ever aware of the Laverda having this option. I did once see a John Deere with a blower attachment and it pulled a small silage trailer behind to collect the screening but I guess this was a farmer’s modification.

years ago you could buy a clayson130 with a cleaner on it i know of one but they took it off because it slowed it down
