There's no SFI up here,so don't think it'll be that.Isn't it those that SFI is aimed at, Tories giving the money to their chums rather than to serfs.

Maybe they can see the way the wind is blowing. There's no SFI up here,so don't think it'll be that.
I had a look on the report yesterday the top might have been £2450 then down a lot from there looked like they were sensible cheap enough to pick some upThere was a couple of heifers with calves at foot went back home on wednesday's sale, and I wouldn't blame the vendor for taking them home, will be easier sold in a couple of months time. Anyone here how the sale went at Wigton with the suckler cows that were for sale
Anyone with farmland be that rented or owned that claimed bps can claim itIsn't it those that SFI is aimed at, Tories giving the money to their chums rather than to serfs.
But if you are a big estate with expensive employees, you keep the gardener sack the rest & plant the land to bird seed etc, plenty of pheasant food so it's a no brainer.Anyone with farmland be that rented or owned that claimed bps can claim it
Rewilding and peatland restoration on the hill and letting the inbye grass. They’ve got £2.5 million from Scotgov to do it.What they doing instead
Any place run by land agents the livestock is gone.Does seem to be estates an not farmer owned farms that's cutting the numbers.
£1200 an they're wass than my picture!
you can be sure anything close to making up the shortfall and rents will go up ! these winter birdfood mixes and the peatland payments will be a no brainer for landlords with suitable land ,So whats SFI or wat ever they call it worth per acre on 150 acres of poor land...but good grazing land...how do i get all this money...They want 150 acre rent...saying you can get most of it back through these schemes....But how is my Question

It’s 50% less than usual crop wise thoughWhat's bulls**t about the GS4 scheme?! High quality grazing/silage, great feed value and high protein, and very workable conditions re grazing/mowing times. Plus get paid for it. If anyone is growing temporary grass in a rotation you'd be mad not to.
No sorry , I've only seen the pictures like you .Is that price right on those Angus? I know GTH pictures don't show the cattle off that well but
Any idea of the weight of them?
It will cost a bit but it is a price worth paying to save the environmentI wonder how long it will be before the government runs out of money for all these bullsh!t herbal and legume schemes.
